Birthplace of Sri Sri Ramakrishna which is very nice and very well maintained. This mission is perfect about timing, you have to follow and maintained it. Visiting time is morning – 6:00 am to 11:30 am and evening 4 pm to 9 pm. In winter 30 minutes delay and 30 minutes early open in the morning and evening respectively. Kamarpukur is the village where Thakur’s memory is buried. Therefore Kamarpukur is a divotional place. If you want inner peace so this is the perfect place. They have daily bhog service for devotee in a coupon system. Bhog distribution started every day from 11:30 am. A sweet dish namely White bundi is famous here. Everyone should try it.
The lodging facilities for devotees who come to Kamarpukur are simply excellent Stay in Yatrinivas Kamarpukur Ramkrishna Math. Of course, prior notice is required which one can do by sending them an email and their response is very prompt. The Yatri Niwas is very basic but it’s very clean and hygienic. All meals are served in the dining area across the road near Gate no 5.

Kamarpukur is at a distance of 105 km from Kolkata and is present in the Hooghly district.
Jayrambati and Kamarpukur are present at a very short distance from each other.
The Ramkrishna Math is present in Kamarpukur decked up with greenery and plantations outside the temple of Lord Ramkrishna.
The temple is built over two straw huts which were being used by Sri Ramkrishna and his family.

How to Reach Jayrambati – Kamarpukur from Kolkata?
You can take a train from Howrah to reach the Goghat station, the station after Arambagh. You can reach Jayranmbati and Kamarpukur from Goghat via a Toto or an Auto or van. It is at a distance of 6-7 km.
You can also visit Jayrambati Kamarpukur via an SBSTC bus from Dharmatala.
You can also visit by Car. It’s at a distance of about 120 km from Kolkata.
