Drop your luggage at the Math Yatrinivas. Freshen up. Collect prasad coupon immediately (valid till 11:30 AM).

10:00 AM

Kamarpukur Sacred Sites

Full exploration of Kamarpukur: Sri Ramakrishna's birthplace, Gopeshwar Shiva Temple, Yogi's Shiva Temple, Haldar Pukur, Ras Mandir, Raghubir Temple, Lahas' house.

12:00 PM

Prasad Lunch at Math

Sit together with other pilgrims for the Math prasad. A deeply communal and spiritual experience.

Rest

Rest at Yatrinivas during the afternoon heat. This is a good time to read about Sri Ramakrishna or attend a dharma talk if available.

Jayrambati Visit

Toto to Jayrambati. Visit Matri Mandir (opens 2:30 PM winter / 3 PM summer), Holy Mother's old and new house, Amodar river ghat.

6:30 PM

Evening Aarti at Kamarpukur

Return for the evening aarti. This is one of the most moving experiences of the pilgrimage.

Dinner

Light dinner at a local dhaba near the Math. Budget: ₹80–150. Early to bed for tomorrow.

Early Morning at Math

Wake early for the morning Mangalarati (if available during festivals). The pre-dawn atmosphere of the Math is deeply peaceful and rare.

Garh Mandaran (Optional)

If time allows, hire a car/auto to visit Garh Mandaran (15 km, 25 min) — the historic fort ruins. Return by 9 AM. Budget: ₹200–300 for auto round trip.

Remaining Kamarpukur Sites

Visit any places you missed on Day 1: Gadadhar Children's Park, Telobhelo Field, Bhanu Pishi's house, Naranarayan Temple.
