Banyan Tree and Bhutir Cremation Ground

Near Lakshmijala stands a huge Banyan tree where Sri Ramakrishna used to meditate day and night. Nearby is the Bhutir cremation ground. Thakur used to offer food to the jackals and spirits of the cremation ground here in a unique way.
